Trustees

Five trustees are selected for a lifetime appointment by the Vestry in conjunction with the Rector.  Their primary function is to hold bear bare legal title to church property and have oversight into its upkeep.  At Clarke Parish, the trustees also oversee and manage restricted investments which may be used only for specified purposes most often as the result of the establishment of a trust or memorial bequest.  Upon approval they distribute funds back to the Vestry for projects within the guidelines of these restricted investments.

Our trustees are:

  • Harry C. Jones, appointed in June 1987
  • Norman deVere Morrison, appointed in September 1999
  • John R. Milleson, appointed in May 2002
  • Priscilla Lowe, appointed in October 2007
  • Robert A. 'Robin' York, appointed in April 2013
